Cancellations

Submission of an order indicates that you accept the following cancellation policy.

Cancellation and change deadlines for purchases under $300 The deadline to modify or cancel an order is 9 a.m. (central time) before the day of delivery. And only 50% of the amount paid will be refunded.

Orders canceled or modified after this period will not be refunded.

For purchases over $300 For a full refund, the deadline to submit your request is 9 a.m. (central time), 10 days before delivery

  1. HOW TO CANCEL OR MODIFY AN ORDER Please call +1 (612) 374 6137, after hours +1 (612) 554026. The order will be canceled or modified only when you have received a confirmation by email.
  2. SEVERE WEATHER POLICY In the event of severe weather forecast, an Uptown Balloon manager will contact the customer at least one day prior to delivery to reconfirm, postpone, or cancel/refund the order.

Uptown Balloon cannot change or cancel an order if the request is made on the delivery date. If Uptown Balloon is unable to deliver an order due to inclement weather, the customer will be notified as soon as possible to arrange for rescheduling or cancellation and refund.

 

 

  • For bouquets you must ordered at least 1 days in advance, if you want from the same day, you must confirm availability. Please call +1 (612) 374 6137, after hours +1 (612) 554026.
  • We do not have a fixed delivery time. Choose the morning shift from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. or the afternoon shift from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. In this period the order will be delivered.
  • Helium gas is not flammable. Helium balloons change size according to temperature, if it's cold they compress, if it's too hot exposed to the sun, keep that in mind. When the balloons are placed directly in the sun, the latex or metallic material boils and explodes.
  • Balloons arrangements are not recommended for the outside, because the wind or the rain can blow up and damage it.
  • The duration of latex balloons with helium last between 24 to 48 hours, micro foil balloons last from 7 to 15 days with helium gas, depending on weather conditions or use.
  • For Local delivery must indicate the exact address with zip code, house, or apartment number, city. If you send a wrong address, you will have an additional charge for delivery.
  • If it is your choice to pick up the bouquet or decoration in our store, take into consideration that our products are large and volume. To take it you must have a suitable and unoccupied vehicle to move it. We are not responsible for the handling and result in which the balloons may arrive.
  • When balloons are spied, deflated, or exploded they should be discarded. Keep waste away from children and pets, as they can drown.
  • You must indicate if the person to be surprised is allergic to latex, to avoid the material in the decoration.
  • We will upload photos of the client and its decoration or Bouquet to our social media or website, if you do not agree with the publication of these images, please notify us. We promise not to publish the client however if we publish our work.
  • Failure to comply with the terms and conditions of this contract. We are not responsible for any reason for damage or loss that may be suffered.

PRIVACY POLICY UPTOWN BALLOONS - DAMAGE TO MARQUEE LIGHT, BACKDROPS, AND COLUMN BASES

At Uptown Balloons, we value the privacy and trust of our customers. This Privacy Policy outlines how we handle the damage and payment process for our Marquee Light, backdrops, and column bases. Please read this policy carefully to understand our practices.

Damage Responsibility:

1.1. Upon renting or purchasing our Marquee Light, backdrops, and column bases, the customer assumes full responsibility for any damage that may occur during the rental period or ownership.

 1.2. The customer must exercise reasonable care and handle the items with caution to minimize the risk of damage.

Damage Assessment:

 2.1. In the event of any damage to the Marquee Light, backdrops, or column bases, the customer must notify Uptown Balloons immediately.

2.2. Our staff will conduct a thorough assessment of the damage and determine the extent of repair or replacement required.

 2.3. Uptown Balloons reserves the right to charge the customer for the complete cost of repairing or replacing the damaged items.

Payment Obligation: 3.1.

 The customer agrees to pay the complete cost of the item as determined by Uptown Balloons in accordance with the damage assessment.

 3.2. Payment for the damaged item must be made promptly within the agreed-upon timeframe, as communicated by Uptown Balloons.

Privacy and Data Protection:

4.1. Uptown Balloons respects your privacy and will handle any personal information provided by the customer in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

 4.2. The customer's personal information collected during the damage assessment and payment process will be used solely for the purpose of managing the damage claim and completing the transaction.

4.3. Uptown Balloons will not disclose or share the customer's personal information with any third parties, except as required by law or with the customer's explicit consent.

Amendments to the Privacy Policy:

5.1. Uptown Balloons reserves the right to modify or update this Privacy Policy at any time.

5.2. Any changes to the policy will be communicated to the customer via the provided contact information or through a notice prominently displayed on our website.

Column Bases $25.00

By renting or purchasing our Marquee Light, backdrops, and column bases, the customer acknowledges and agrees to the terms outlined in this Privacy Policy, including the responsibility for damage and payment obligations.
